Walking down the street in my hometown Dead upon my broken feet, the rain was coming down I peeled off all my skin, to see what lay beneath me I tell you brothers and sisters, I don’t think you will believe me There was nothing there, just an empty space I dived right, and found myself looking out from my empty face I knew I could not save me, no soul to be found I swear it’s not because I’m lazy, these days I just don’t get around The world’s gone crazy But still it can amaze me The beauty will not phase me But still it can enrage me Stupid fools Stupid rules A book of lies A pig that flies So, I’m going underground Where I never will be found In starlight I would happily drown I suppose what I’m trying to say In my inevitably clumsy way I apologise for spending time Living my life as if my life was mine I give it up, take it back! Out of the daylight, into the black And I know what I’ll find there The source of all my nightmares They live in the dark Behind my mind They terrorise me And leave me blind Things that happened a lifetime ago Bubble up and hurt me so A wave on the beach A baby out of reach I suppose what I’m trying to say In my stupidly stupid way I cannot apologise For being the agent of my own demise Goodbye Don’t try To follow me Maybe I will see You around

Chill fingers taste sensation On harsh granite, bled and torn. From shuddering fear and guilt Your consciousness is borne On wings of desperation, Escape's imagined flight, Yet gallows wait on dawn's approach And death comes with the light. Immortal dreamer overcome the world Immortal dreamer! Sun-blind, you gasp in terror, And silent screams the pain. The hellish kiss of rope on flesh, At last - you break - insane. Some subtle, sudden turn, A crucial shifting wheel, The balance of the mind has swung, Death is no longer real. Immortal dreamer overcome the world. Like sparkling gems against the stars His mind is hurled. Awake the echo lingers Of the nightmare's clutching fear. In sweat-damp sheets you breathe relief. Death seemed so real, so near. Immortal dreamer overcome the world. Like sparkling gems against the stars His mind is hurled. And now you name it - Dream, And name it in mistake, For death alone brought freedom, To die is to awake…

There’s much that you don’t know About Norman How far are you willing to go To please Norman? Pretty flowers wither so Around the new Norman Over deeping sea from far away Came this very Norman From a gaping wound of pearly grey Bled the man they all call Norman When Norman came to town Everything changed Your world was rearranged By the new Norman His name is not your name And nothing stays the same He is not exactly sane But he’s true Norman Blue Norman Not exactly normal Everyday Norman Is the new Norman There’s much that you don’t know About Norman His game is not your game He only does Norman Norman is the King Of anticipation Of every fucking thing The new Norman He’d love to know you better Say hello to Norman By speech or in a letter Dearest Norman When looking for your vote Passionate Norman He’s nothing like remote He’s the new Norman He gets inside your brain Hypnotist Norman Yeah, he can make it rain Weatherman Norman He’ll take the sky from you Crow killer Norman No matter what you do Here comes the new Norman

Pyramid Blue 04:44
Under a pyramid blue Lie the remains of Klaatu Died at the hand of his son By this deed empire was won Murder is never sanctified Or Godhood gained by patricide The Heavens will ring to celebrate your time Heathens attack the catacombs Knowledge is lost, infernal doom! The Heaven you bring is no better a lie than mine Deep in the pyramid blue Reigns the spirit of Klaatu Killed by an aberrant son Destined through death to return Drawn by a terrible fate By thousands of years too late Taken by land and by sea His evil essence set Free! Now he’s stalking the corridors of an oligarchy you know well You see them infecting your screen, opening Windows to Hell Always so impeccably coiffured, so beautifully turned But still we only watch as all we love is burned And never listen, even as we’re warned Something horribly ancient is crawling its way into their minds Giving itself permission to pervert whatever it finds Gathering to itself everything it has lost Sun worship Human sacrifice Punitive taxation! Let there be a bloodletting upon the full Moon After a moment of somber reflection Klaatu contemplated the insurrection And in a fit of self actuation Finally saw the purpose of the nation I am your King!

I think hear you I do not fear you Listening to My every thought You don’t know the pain Here it comes again Like acid rain Through time is naught But the tricks of a fool Caught skipping school Something wonderful is on my horizon No dark clouds No future borrowed Time travelers Please mark my words What have you heard About my days? I’m not to blame Not in my name But they did it all the same Knowing it was crazy Just the tricks of a fool Caught skipping school

The beat-strong Pete DeVito Is screwing-up our lives Ivanna waits but he don't Check his watch tonight With umber-pale tumblers Held up to the light In small but ardent numbers Gathered close and tight When Hiathus Hawke came through His personal Waterloo A broadcasting menace His visions were smooth and blue Included a prince or two Thumbin' their nose But those braless babes in turbans Their company he is earning Without a hint of invention Without a reason why And if her name is Penny Her puppeteers are many Repulsive and aplenty In rafters holding many In rafters holding many

You fold your wings when someone bleeds You stay at home, deliver screeds You call for peace at times of war Can't stand to duplicate the day before As speeches wreathe the aftermath By some kind of delinquent son The whiskey is the last friend to leave It closes the door on the run Now you hide as taunts from shadows Invade your living room The news in full of Pandora's boxes And each one contains a buffoon The colors lighten on Market Street As her hair turns from dark to white The platters lay bare in the diners The traffic determines the fight You fold your wings when someone bleeds You stay at home, deliver screeds You call for peace at times of war Can't stand to duplicate the day before

There’s a little house down on Weezer Street Hey, they can fix you up, they keep it real neat Just a little injection, you can last forever They’ll take your hand and lead you into the never never They got a room in the back, on the second floor Oh, they’re gonna make you bleed, but still you come back for more It’s not that they are particularly cruel There’s just an endless supply of fools You know the way it goes on Weezer Street But hey baby, it’s not really a house, you know what I mean? It’s a metaphor, and you should know, because you’ve been. You ask me what is the metaphor? Well, I don’t know When I find the meta, open the door I’ll let you know what the meta’s for I’ll let you know what the meta’s for Down on Weezer Street

Flamed 03:44
Some lessons cannae be learned Some lessons just huffty be earned The hard way The hard way I was walking down the street one day, minding my affairs Two big guys in suits grabbed me, they took me unawares They said, “Is your name Harvey?” and I said, “Why naw” But they huckled me intae a black mariah, and that was all I saw. They took me to a little room, bright lights all in ma face Nae urra bugger wis there, so I started checkin out the place There was a tape machine in the corner, vintage 1973 I recognised it, Binatone, but it wisnae meant for me Then the public accusator started accusating me To find out all about my university degree I told him I didnt huv a degree, it wisnae my direction He telt me right then I was gaunae get a doing fur spreading the insurrection Then them cats with the rubber hoses started layin intae me “You haven’t got the right, you see, to talk cosmology What do you know about global warming? Precisely zilch So shut your face, get off your horse and drink your fuckin milk” They made me sign a paper, a non disclosure pact So, now when you hear me talking, you know it’s only facts I follow the science, ignore payola, dinny make a buggerin fuss I’m part of the herd, don’t rock the boat, dinny pish up the back of the bus So, follow my advice, learn from my experience Keep to the straight and narrow, nae pervertions, nae deviance A Turing bot for the MOD tuned in and stole our numbers It huzzny got a conscience, and it never, never slumbers Send the peasants out for more Ribs and balls
