This album was recorded and produced in East Lothian between October 2023 and February 2024 by Peri Urban.
All songs written and arranged by Peri Urban.

This album is sequenced as a ten sided vinyl LP boxed set, with each side lasting around fifteen to seventeen minutes. Such an artefact does not yet exist.

Granny Amplitude says:
“The album was recorded and engineered using a form of spatial processing which allows the stereo field to be widened when listening on headphones, whilst still retaining the clarity of the central image. Granny recommends Audio Technica ATH-M50x headphones or similar as a good starting point.
In addition, a new mastering technique has been employed to retain the full dynamic range of the music, both from moment to moment and over the album as a whole. Nevertheless, individual tracks conform to a LUFS standard of around -12.5, which is louder than most streaming services. The new technique reduces the harmonic distortion, clipping and bass compression that is often introduced by the mastering process. In short, Granny’s album will sound better than most for anyone brave enough to download the original wav files.
Listeners may be aware of some consciousness altering frequencies if listening with sufficient amplitude. Granny has implemented a long held belief that sound vibrations in the region of 40Hz can be a particularly effective therapeutic salve for the relief of many of the ailments that assault the human form of consciousness. Please feel free to experiment under your own cognisance, and enjoy my peculiar collection in your own way.”
